Monday Montage 184
Hi everyone and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! We’ve got some great projects to share with you, so make sure you continue by clicking the NEXT button at the bottom of this post to continue the hop. Today I’m sharing my February customer Thank You cards featuring the True Love Designer Series Paper and Heal Your Heart stamp set.
Heal Your Heart Thank You Card
I always send a handmade Thank You card to my ordering customers each month. This month, I ran out early so I needed to whip up a new batch quickly. These cards are created with various patterns of the True Love Designer Series Paper. All of these papers are black and white, so I added color with my Stampin’ Blends.
At first, I thought I would prefer the softer shades of Stampin’ Blends. After I colored a few sheets, I really loved the bolder colors like Just Jade, Magenta Madness, and Poppy Parade. Stampin’ Blends are sold in a combo pack of light and dark. I started by coloring around each flower image with the dark Blend, then filled in the open areas with the light Blend. One thing to note: this paper is not as smooth or thick as our Basic White cardstock, so the colors won’t blend seamlessly. I still love the way they turned out.
For the greeting, I used the “thank you” from the Heal Your Heart stamp set. This stamp set is available FREE with a qualifying $50 purchase for Sale-a-Bration through the end of February. You can see more samples made with this set in this blog post. Visit my online store for more information about this promotion.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
