Hi everyone and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! We’ve got some great projects to share with you, so make sure you continue by clicking the NEXT button at the bottom of this post to continue the hop. Today I’m doing double duty and using the TGIF Challenges Inspiration for a card made with the Brushed Blooms bundle.
When I saw the Inspiration photo, I figured I could create something very similar using the Brushed Blooms stamp set and Beautiful Brushstrokes dies. I started by using the 2 brushstroke stamps with Highland Heather and Pool Party inks to layer various shades of color onto my background.
Next, I did A LOT of die-cutting. I cut the 3 layer roses from Petal Pink, Blushing Bride, and Very Vanilla card stocks. The leaves were cut from Soft Sea Foam card stock. Before adhering the layers together, I used a blending brush and the same ink color to add some depth to the flowers and leaves.
My favorite part of this card has to be the greeting! I am such a homebody…this could definitely be my slogan. But this stamp set has so many more great greetings that will fit many occasions or “just because”.
