Welcome to the Monday Montage blog hop! Every other Monday, my friends and I share inspiring projects. Be sure to visit all 10 stops…..you don't want to miss anything!
I'm just going to apologize now. I've probably made several hundred Christmas cards in the last two months. I. Just. Can't. Make. One. More. So sorry!
It's also hard to make Christmas cards because I've got so many new toys to play with! I was able to preorder some new products from the upcoming Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs, so it's been taunting me for a few days.
I paired a stamp set called The Sky's the Limit with this week's Freshly Made Sketch to come up with today's card.
I started by using an aqua painter and Pool Party ink to create a watercolor wash on some thick Whisper White card stock. If you haven't tried this new, thicker card stock, you really should! I stamped a few clouds and the greeting in Basic Gray ink. The plane was stamped and fussy cut before adhering to the card with dimensionals.
I added some bling with a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper and a few carefully placed sequins. My son will be graduating from high school in a few weeks and I think this card will be perfect for him.
You'll find a complete list of supplies at the end of this post.

Happy Stampin'
So anythings to love about this card! The soft watercolor, the bits of bling and the airplane..love it all!
