Have A Hoot: Monday Montage 172

Hi everyone and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! We’ve got some great projects to share with you, so make sure you continue by clicking the NEXT button at the bottom of this post to continue the hop. Today I’ve got 2 projects for you with the Have a Hoot bundle from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog.

I hope you can handle an early Halloween project. Whenever we get new holiday products from Stampin’ UP, I always try to select my favorite Halloween stamp set first. There is such a short window to create for this holiday and this year, I selected the Have a Hoot bundle. Not only does it have adorable owl images, but it also features this great tag/window die shown below.

I decided to show off the Have a Hoot bundle with 2 different styles of cards. The top card is an A2 measuring 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and the bottom card is a slimline measuring 3-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. After cutting out the die on black cardstock, I traced the windows onto a smaller piece of Whisper White card stock. This allowed me to sponge color on the windows and get accurate placement of my stamps. The individual owls were stamped, die cut, and colored with Stampin’ Blends before layering onto the card with dimensionals.

Want to see more slimline cards?

Thanks so much for stopping by!
