I have got a super fun Pop Up Flip card tutorial for you to try today! It’s an interactive card that features a focal point that flips around and pops up on the inside of the card. I’ve created very simple directions for you to follow and included some additional project samples. If you missed my post on the Hey Chick card, you can check it out here.
Pop Up Flip Card Measurements
- Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″
- Mechanism part 1: 3″ x 4″, scored at 1″, 2″ and 3″
- Mechanism part 2: 3/4″ x 2-1/4″, scored at 1-1/4″
- Optional Designer Series Paper: 4″ x 5-1/4″ (cover) and 3″ x 5-1/4″ (inside)
As I shared in the video, I like to keep the card base and mechanism the same color. I showed how I stamped the front of the card base for my Hey Chick card, but my other samples include various Designer Series Papers. As a reminder, if you use pattern paper on the front, be sure to only use adhesive around the edges before die-cutting.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this Pop Up Flip Card tutorial and will give it a try! Tag me in your social posts @thestampdoc so I can see your fabulous creations. Thanks so much for stopping by!
