After taking an extended leave from design team work, I’m happy to announce that I’m back with the TGIF Challenges team. This is a group of AMAZING & TALENTED Stampin’ UP! demonstrators.

This week is a Product Challenge to use Alphabet Dies. For my card, I used the ALPHABET À LA MODE DIES with the Poppin’ By bundle. This bundle will be available as an online exclusive beginning May 6th and is a must-have for any movie lover in your life. Use these coordinating stamps and dies to create playful popcorn people, complete with tiny shoes and glasses.
How to Create the Big Greeting
To create the bold sentiment, I began by adhering Basic Black cardstock to a FOAM ADHESIVE SHEET. Next, I ran the dies through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the cardstock/adhesive sheet combo. Don’t fret! While it’s a bit thick, but it works just fine. To line the letters up as straight as possible, I like to use Post-It Note tape which you can find here. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Basic White cardstock, masking the word “poppin'” and adding the dimensional die cut letters. A bit of fussy cutting around the sentiment and my focal point was complete.
To play along with this week’s challenge, create a card using any Alphabet dies and upload it to the TGIF Challenges blog.
