Springtime Joy Stamp Set: #TGIFC310 Color Combo Challenge
Happy Good Friday! As always, we have a new challenge at TGIF Challenges today and it’s a very Spring-like color challenge. I’ve combined these colors with the adorable Springtime Joy stamp set to create a card that’s perfect for celebrating Easter. (you can also check out last year’s Easter card here)
I began by stamping the lamb image with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Basic White card stock. The light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend Marker creates a nice shadow effect on the lamb and makes it stand out even more. I was able to use the light and dark Stampin’ Blends in Pool Party and Flirty Flamingo to color the flowers. A few butterflies were stamped in Pool Party ink onto Pool Party cardstock to give it a tone-on-tone look for the background.
A lot of times when I’m stamping a card, I’ll just grab whatever products are nearby. In this case, I had the Pierced Blooms dies on my table. These dies were perfect for the layered greeting and the small flower accents. I added small pearl basic jewels to the centers of the small flowers.
