#tgifc165 Some Summer Inspiration with Sunny Days

TGIF165

Hi everyone!  I hope you have had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend.  We’ve got a fabulous inspiration photo for this week’s challenge at TGIF Challenges.  I think you’ll agree that it’s super sweet!  If you’d like to play along, simply use some aspect of the photo to inspire your card creation, then upload it to our challenge site by next Thursday.  A winner will be announced on Friday.

Sunny Days

I chose to use the new Sunny Days stamp set for my challenge card.  It is perfect with the cute, little lemonade stand image and the fun greeting.  I colored the lemonade stand panel with a mixture of blender pens and Aqua Painters paired with the new Brights Classic Stamp Pads.  The key is to minimize the amount of moisture added to the card stock, and allowing it to dry as you go.  I also stamped the lemon slices in Mango Medley ink onto a piece of Daffodil Delight designer series paper.

Sunny Days

The greeting was stamped in Versamark ink, then heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and a heat tool.  I die-cut the greeting and layering piece of Melon Mambo Designer Series Paper with the Big Shot and Layering Squares dies.

Sunny Days Close Up

To complete the card, I added some adorable Glitter Enamel Dots and a cute Daffodil Delight bow.
