This week’s challenge at TGIF Challenges is to be inspired by the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog. I will usually check out Pinterest for inspiration when using new stamp sets. When I checked for projects made with the Prettiest Birthday Bundle, I came up empty-handed. I absolutely had to have this stamp set: it has a macaron image! I’ve been obsessed with perfecting my French macarons for the last couple of months. Of course, there are other images in the Prettiest Birthday stamp set as you’ll see in today’s cards.

Prettiest Birthday Stamp Set

I began by using a Blending Brush with the Daffodil Delight ink pad to apply color to the Basic White card layer. The color is more intense towards the center and then I fade it out. If you’d like to see how I do this, check out this post.

I stamped the focal point of balloons with Black Memento ink then colored in with a variety of Stampin’ Blends in pink tones. The greeting was stamped in versamark, then heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. I fussy cut around the greeting to make it stand out even more. A few Opal Rounds were added as embellishment. These are so pretty and glittery!

My second card is a bit simpler version but still features the same design elements. Let me know in the comments which one is your favorite. You’ll find the complete list of supplies for this card below.
