Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

 I need to share at least one card featuring the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper because today is the last day of the Buy 3, Get 1 Free Designer Series Paper sale.  I didn’t get a chance to blog about all the cards that I created with the pretty papers this month, but you can see more on my Facebook and Instagram accounts.  I’ll get caught up eventually (LOL).

 

This week’s sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch was absolutely perfect for showcasing various papers.  I created quite a few cards using this basic layout, but this one is definitely my favorite.  Here are the basic measurements I used on all my cards:

Card Base:  4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″

Layer 1:  4″ x 5-1/4″

Designer Series Paper:  (2) 2″ x 3-3/4″ and (1) 1″ x 3-3/4″

For the focal point, I stamped the star image in Petal Pink ink then stamped the greeting over it in Night of Navy ink.  Next, I die cut with the Big Shot and the Stitched Shapes Framelits Die.  I added a Petal Pink die-cut scallop circle to the back to make it stand out even more.  As a final touch, a scattered a few Twinkle Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card front.
