Whole Lots of Lovely #TGIFC 120 Sketch Challenge

Sympathy TGIFC120

Hi Everyone!  I’ve been swamped at work the past few weeks so there hasn’t been much time to stamp lately.  Sadly, we’ve had several patients experience the loss of a family member within the last month and I am out of sympathy cards.  My husband let me know that my next stamping project needed to be restocking our sympathy cards at the office.  I needed something quick & easy, but still beautiful.  The Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper was a perfect fit with the sympathy greeting from the Rose Wonder stamp set.  I paired those two with this week’s sketch from TGIF Challenges to create this clean & simple card.

I plan to recreate this card with multiple patterns of the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper.  Here are the measurements that I used:

Polka Dots:  1″ x 4-3/4″

Floral:  2″ x 4″

Whisper White:  4-1/4″ x 11, scored at 5-1/2″ (card base)

Whisper White:  4″ x 5-1/4″ (front layer)

I stamped the greeting, label outline, and a couple of leaf images, then die cut with the Rose Garden Thinlits dies and the Big Shot.  An additional flower was die cut from Tangerine Tango to place behind the sentiment.  All in all, this card took just a few minutes to create.
