Foil Frenzy Happy Birthday

As you are reading this, I am off on a much needed quick vacation.  It’s been a crazy, busy year so it was definitely time for a break.  However, I find that getting away for a trip can be extremely hectic.  It always seems like there is so much to do before I can leave the house, the office, the dogs, the blog, and so on.  I felt like I had it all under control and then we were invited to a last-minute birthday celebration.   A fast card had to be made!

FMS294I used the sketch above from Freshly Made Sketches for my layout and paired it with the Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper for some sparkle and bling.  The Happy Birthday Thinlits have become my “go-to” for quick birthday cards.  On this card, I layered 5 die cuts to create the dimension on the greeting.  Instead of gluing them together with liquid glue, I decided to use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets.  They made this project go even quicker and it was a lot less mess!  You’ll definitely want to use these sheets with your intricate die cuts.

Foil Frenzy Happy Birthday  To embellish the card, I used a few of the Glitter Enamel Dots and some Berry Burst 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.  This card has just the right amount of bling and was perfect for our birthday girl.  You could easily re-create this card with any of the foil sheets from the Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper and you’d have cards for every birthday this year.Foil Frenzy Happy Birthday Close-Up

I want to wish all of you a safe and happy 4th of July!
