Papercrafting is the Best Medicine

Outside the Box

Hi everyone and welcome to another great blog hop from the Control Freak Stampers! The theme this month is Outside the Box. You may have arrived here from Bree Renwick’s blog, Craft-somnia Momma. I’ll have your next link at the bottom of this post.

We were told to use our imagination with this theme, so I chose a fun fold card that resembles a box when open. This fold is called a Z-Fold Box card and I have a video posted at the end of this post. The nice thing about this card is it folds flat for mailing!

I used a lot of Sale-a-Bration products on this card. You can get these items free with a qualifying purchase of $50: Lily Pad stamp set, Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper, and Metallic Baker’s Twine & Sequins Combo Pack (sold out). With a purchase of $100, you can get the Lily Pad dies free.

Card Measurements

  • Pretty Peacock: 4-1/4″ x 9-1/2″, scored at 2″ and 4″
  • Pretty Peacock: 3-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 2″ and 4″
  • Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper: (2) 1-3/4″ x 3-1/4″, (2) 1-3/4″ x 4″, and 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Melon Mambo: 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″
  • Whisper White: 3″ x 4″

You’re next stop on the tour is Wendy Weixler at Wickedly Wonderful Creations. I’m sure she’ll wow you with her amazing work!
