Hi everyone and welcome to another great blog hop from the Control Freak Stampers! You may have arrived here from Lisa Martz’s blog. I’ll have your next link at the bottom of this post. The theme this month is FALLING and I’ll be sharing a couple of elegant cards created with the Gilded Autumn Suite.

Gilded Autumn Suite Double Pocket Card

My first card for today is a Double Pocket Fold Card. I actually made one of these cards for our Fun Folds blog hop last year. It’s been very popular on Pinterest lately so I thought it might be a good idea to update it with current products. You can find the video tutorial here.

There are lots of fun bits and pieces in the Gilded Autumn Suite. I love that I can use the Autumn Punch Pack to punch the leaf and acorn images from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper. The paper features gold and copper foil accents on some of the designs and is simply GORGEOUS! To embellish this card, I added a bit of the Copper ribbon and a tiny acorn trinket.

Brushed Metallic Gathered Leaves

  • Very Vanilla cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
  • Very Vanilla cardstock: 3-3/4″ x 5″ embossed with Woodland Embossing Folder
  • Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper: 4″ x 5-1/4″

The one item I don’t want you to overlook in the Gilded Autumn Suite is the Brushed Metallic 12″ x 12″ Cardstock. It is so pretty! On this card, I die cut/embossed leaves with the Gathered Leaves Dies, a returning favorite from last year. The leaves pair very well with the embossed Woodland background to create a simple, but elegant thank you card.

You’re next stop on the tour is my good friend Breelin at Craft-somnia Momma. I’m sure she’ll wow you with her amazing work!
