Hi everyone and welcome to another great blog hop from the Control Freak Stampers! You may have arrived here from my good friend Wendy Weixler’s blog. She designed our sketch that we are using as inspiration for this month’s projects. This sketch is so versatile that I created 3 cards using the Frightfully Cute bundle to share with you.
I am a huge fan of sketches, so I was really excited about this month’s theme. I started with a Basic White card base, then added Designer Series Paper from the Brights & Regals. All of my measurements are below and I simply mixed and matched the colors and patterns. For my focal point, I cut the spider web from Black Glitter Paper and backed it with a Basic White circle. I added sentiments and stamped images from the Frightfully Cute stamp set, as well as a few of the Cute Stars Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
Frightfully Cute Sketch Card Measurements
- Basic White: 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
- Designer Series Paper(DSP) #1: 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, use Triple Banner Punch on one end
- DSP #2: 2-1/2″ x 4″
- DSP #3: 1″ x 4-1/4″
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today! You’re next stop on the Control Freaks tour is Cindy Elam. I’m sure she’ll wow you with her amazing work!
