Daisy Garden meets Biggest Wish: #TGIFC322 Designer Take Over

It’s Friday and that means it’s time for another challenge at TGIF Challenges. This week, Andrea has taken over the blog and challenged us to design cards with a Farmhouse Chic vibe. You must go check out all of the amazing cards the team has created here. My card for the challenge features the Daisy Garden stamp and I paired it with the Biggest Wish stamp set.

The Daisy Garden stamp is a single, large background stamp that is sized to fit an A2 card. I love it because I can visualize using it for many different stamping techniques, projects, and occasions. On my card for today, I simply stamped it in Black Memento ink onto a woodgrain pattern paper from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. To give it a little texture, I flicked White Craft ink over the paper for a few splatters.

To complete the Farmhouse Chic design of my card, I added a few bits and pieces. The Buffalo Check background paper is from the Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper. My sentiment is from the Biggest Wish stamp set. I stamped “hello” in Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock, then fussy cut a border around it. “Friend” was stamped in Versamark ink onto Basic Black cardstock, then sprinkled with White emboss powder and heated. These block words are very easy to cut. The green gingham ribbon is part of the Flowers for Every Season ribbon combo pack.
