I’m making a commitment this year to get more scrapbooking done and I’ll be sharing some layouts with you periodically. I just received the Memories in the Making Project Life bundle and it might be my favorite Project Life by Stampin’ UP! kit so far. I really love the stamp set! It’s going to be perfect for some Valentine’s cards, too.
The great thing about the bundle is that you get the card collection, accessory pack, and stamp set. Plus, with a $50 purchase you qualify for a FREE Sale-a-Bration item, including another add-on card collection. Everything coordinates!
The first thing I do when I get a new kit is to write the coordinating Stampin’ UP! colors on the back of the box, below the label. Then, I can easily grab the right colors of cardstock, markers, or ink pads to go with my pages.
I layered this cute pic onto one of the 4″ x 6″ cards, then added the pink heart. I stamped “smile” in Watermelon Wonder ink onto the gold & white banner.
Since my daughter is getting a little older and this page is all about “her day”, I thought I would have her tell the story in her own words/handwriting. It’s not perfect, but that’s what I love about it. Normally, the misspelled words and bad punctuation would drive me crazy. However, I am going to embrace these imperfections. It’s a true reflection of our imperfect life.
Unfortunately, I’m just as critical of my own handwriting. I’m going to learn to embrace it, too. On this card, the gold swirl embellishment and wooden heart are from the accessory pack. These little extras just pop off the page.
On this last card, I added some embellishments, a stamp, and some adhesive numbers for the year.
This layout took just a few minutes. It’s so easy when everything coordinates. You can get your Memories in the Making Project Life bundle HERE.
