Hello and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! I’m sure you’ll find a bunch of creative inspiration as you hop along with some of my crafty friends.
This past Saturday, I did a Facebook Live featuring projects made with the Hey Love stamp set from the Occasions Catalog. I shared 4 of the projects in the last blog post, so scroll back if you missed them. The project I’m sharing today features the Mirror Image stamping technique and you’ll find a video below explaining the technique. You won’t believe how easy it is!
After stamping the otter images, I colored them with Soft Suede, Balmy Blue, and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends. I added a bit of Clear Wink of Stella to the water surrounding the otters to give the card a bit of shimmer. The main image was then die cut with the Be Mine Stitched Framelits and layered onto a die cut Flirty Flamingo scalloped heart.
The focal point was layered onto Balmy Blue card stock and a piece of All My Love Designer Series Paper. I also added a die cut Whisper White heart border. And finally, the greeting was stamped in Versamark ink onto Basic Black card stock, then heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
