Hi everyone and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! Today I’m sharing a super simple card featuring the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper.

When I need to make a quick card, I grab a Basic White Note Card. These cards come pre-cut and scored, measuring 3-1/2″ x 5″ when folded. I used the sketch above from Freshly Made Sketches for the layout. Strips of the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper were cut to 1″ x 3″, then adhered directly to the note card. My tip for placement is to use the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to allow yourself some wiggle room to get the strips positioned the way you want it. You can get the glue HERE.

Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper

For the focal point, I die cut a butterfly image from another pattern paper in the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. The large die from the Brilliant Wings dies lines up perfectly with this paper to cut 6 different butterflies. Next, I stamped the “You’re So Nice” greeting from the Many Mates stamp set in Versamark ink onto Basic Black cardstock. White embossing powder was sprinkled over the stamped greeting then melted with a heat tool.
