Give It a Whirl Dies: Monday Montage 191
Hi everyone and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! We’ve got some great projects to share with you, so make sure you continue by clicking the NEXT button at the bottom of this post to continue the hop. My projects feature the Give It a Whirl Dies. You can see a few of my previous projects with this die set here.
As you can see, I got a little carried away when creating with the Give It A Whirl Dies. A few people had reached out to me with concerns about the die creating an impression across the front of the card. I wanted to share some creative ways to camouflage the impression or hide it completely. Using a busy pattern of Designer Series Paper is very effecting in hiding the line. It can also be covered with stamps and die cuts. On the Peekaboo Farm card, I simply stamped and colored with Stampin’ Blends to hide the line (although you can probably still see it on this card more than the others).
Create some Give It a Whirl Templates with Basic Black Cardstock
My very best piece of advice for using these dies is to create some wheel templates before you start any project. These templates make it simpler to line up your stamped images so that they will show up properly when you turn the wheel. I demonstrated these in a recent Facebook Live. My second tip is to use the Stamparatus. I don’t think I would attempt any of these cards without it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
