Rainbow Dimensional Die-Cut Greeting

Make a Wish

Hi Stampers!  I hope you are having an awesome week so far.  I’ve been experiencing internet difficulties at home, so I’ve been a bit slow with getting posts up on the blog.  We have a technician coming on Friday and hopefully he (or she) can get it straightened out.  If you follow my Facebook page, you’ve probably seen the video that I created for Rainbow, Dimensional die-cuts.  This is a fun technique the you can easily incorporate with your existing dies and the Big Shot.  I’ve also got a link to the video a little further down in this post.

With such a bold greeting, I wanted to have a simple layout and this week’s sketch from CAS(E) this sketch was a perfect fit!

Make a Wish

The video walks you step-by-step through the process I used to create the focal point on this card with the Broadway Lights Thinlits Dies.

Next, I heat embossed the “Make a” and “Let’s Celebrate You” greetings by stamping in Versamark ink onto Basic Black card stock, sprinkling with White Emboss Powder, then heating with a heat tool until the powder was melted.  I layered the Basic Black card stock onto a Whisper White card base, then added a few Granny Apple Green Glitter Enamel Dots for accent.

Make a Wish Close Up

I still have a few more cards featuring this technique to share.  I’ll have 2 more on the blog for Monday Montage on July 2nd.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Be sure to add these items to your next order to recreate this card.
