Rustic Elegance Wedding Card #TGIFC116 Sketch Challenge
Hey everyone! It’s time for another sketch challenge at TGIF Challenges. You can check out what the other designers created using the sketch below by visiting the challenge blog. This is going to be a busy year for us with weddings and babies. Tomorrow, we will be attending the wedding of the daughter of my husband’s good friend from high school. I’m quite certain that we are not old enough to have friends with children that are old enough to get married. Yep! I’m definitely getting old!
Since we will be giving them a gift card, I wanted to create a beautiful wedding card for the newlyweds. The background is from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack and lends a bit of a rustic feel to an otherwise elegant card. I added a few Gold embossed banners using the Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. The greeting is from the Better Together stamp set. It was stamped in versamark, heat embossed with gold embossing powder, then die cut with the Stitched Shapes framelits. To complete the gold ensemble, I added a scallop layer of Gold Foil cardstock and a wrap of the mini gold sequin trim.
