Hi everyone and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! We’ve got some great projects to share with you, so make sure you continue by clicking the NEXT button at the bottom of this post to continue the hop. I am way behind on posting some of my projects, so today I’m sharing for both TGIF Challenges and Monday Montage. This week, we have a sketch challenge at TGIF Challenges and it’s such a fun layout. My project features the Biggest Wish stamp set, Count on Me stamp set, and Basic Borders dies.
To create the chevron borders, I used the zig-zag die from the Basic Borders dies. Cutting twice creates the strips, then they are adhered adjacent to one another. Next, I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set in Basic Gray ink. I used the Stamparatus to ensure that it was placed in the right position and that I didn’t screw it up. LOL! The adorable penguin image is from the Count on Me stamp set and he was colored with a variety of Stampin’ Blends. To complete the card, I tied on some black and white twine for embellishment.
