In and Out Card Featuring Cake Soiree

This weekend has been perfect for crafting!  I’ve loved being snowed in with brand new stamps and dies.  The Cake Soiree stamp set is becoming a fast favorite and I was inspired to try this fun fold card by this video.  This card also fits 2 challenges:  CAS(E) this Sketch! and SIP Challenge.

CTS254

I began by stamping the cake image in Powder Pink & Berry Burst ink onto the front of a Whisper White card base.  Next, I used the Sweet Cake Framelits Dies to cut out the cake.  The cake was set aside and I ran the front of the card base through the Big Shot with the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Additional die cuts (flower, leaves, and cake stand) from the Sweet Cake dies were cut from Berry Burst card stock, Old Olive card stock, and Silver Foil sheets.  The “celebrate” die cut is from the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies.  This set of dies is not available for purchase, but you can get it FREE during Sale-a-Bration with a $100 order.

      I’m working on a video tutorial. It’s 2, 4-1/4 x 11 pieces of card stock that overlap.
