Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!

I’ve had to take a step back from my stamping business recently, so it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything.  Nothing is wrong, in fact, many things are really good.  We’ve gotten much busier in the chiropractic office and I love being able to help more people on a daily basis.  I’m also diving much deeper into my essential oil business and it is really taking flight.  I just want you to know that I have no intention of leaving Stampin’ UP! anytime soon.  I still love it, however, my time to create has become more limited.  There is a season for everything and I hope that someday I’ll be able to jump back in and be more active again.

FMS Final 309-001

One thing I won’t be giving up is the Monday Montage blog hop and my design work with TGIF Challenges.  I’ve had to combine both, along with a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, to come up with today’s project.  Our theme at TGIF Challenges this week is Sweater Weather.  I went with a design that invokes feelings of Fall:  pumpkins, cable knit, and hot chocolate.

This is a simple gift pouch that features the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper.  The Very Vanilla background paper was embossed with the Cable Knit 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I’ve added some linen thread and Champagne foil strip to accent the focal point.  The sentiment is from the Add a Little Glitz stamp set and was stamped in Tangerine Tango ink.

Pumpkin Spice Gift

When you pull up gently on the 1/4″ Copper Trim, it reveals the pouch of Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa.  I found these at Target and think they’ll make a nice little gift.  I based my measurements on the packet, so you may have to adjust the size to fit different ones.

  1. Early Espresso Card Stock:  5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 2-1/2″ and 6-1/4″
  2. Fold and seal with Tear & Tape Adhesive
  3. Use the 1/8″ hole punch to punch a hole near the top of the pouch
  4. Thread Copper Trim through the hole, place hot chocolate into the pouch, pushing the Copper Trim down
  5. Tie ribbon at top to close and decorate front as desired

Thanks so much for stopping by!  You’ll find a complete list of supplies at the end of this post.
